After drinking Whisk{e}y for several years, I am beginning to enjoy how distillers are experimenting with different finishes. While I have a long passion for Irish Whisk{e}y, that barley is becoming somewhat refreshing with a sherry finish; namely Redbreast. While Teeling has had some interesting finishes themselves from Sherries, Ports and Brandies. All are peaking my interest.
Here in the states, Joseph Magnus has been experimenting with Cognac and I am looking forward to see what this one tastes like. Will start to post some reviews shortly as the bar is stocked and ready to sample.
